about ///

Hi, I’m Mike.

I’m a husband,
a dad,
a creative,
a leader,
a hockey coach
and someone who’s relentlessly hopeful
about what can happen when people get healthy and build something together.

I’ve been married to Kristen for over 15 years now.
She’s my partner in every sense of the word, faith, family, life, and calling.
Together we’re raising three incredible kids, Caleb, Lukas, and Ella,
who keep us moving, laughing, learning,
and always searching for the next great hockey rink or family road trip.

If there’s one thing my family has taught me, it’s this:
when you really care about something,
it’s not a question of if…it’s just a question of how.
That’s how I approach everything I do.

a life of creativity and calling

I’ve spent my life helping people create.
As a founding member of the worship band Bellarive,
I signed with Sparrow Records and toured the world,
co-producing two full-length albums that I’m still deeply proud of.
That season was formative, but like all seasons, it prepared me for the next one.

Coming off the road was one of the hardest and most faith-filled decisions I’ve ever made.
But it opened the door to something even deeper: investing in the local church.
For the past 15+ years, I’ve served in full-time creative ministry,
building teams, writing songs for the church,
and helping others uncover what they’re truly capable of.

I’ve led volunteers and staff,
grown ministries from scratch,
created and guided content of all kinds,
and walked with leaders through their highest moments and hardest seasons.
Over and over again, I’ve seen the same truth play out:
when a leader gets healthy, everything changes.
Teams thrive.
Vision clarifies.
Culture starts to breathe again.

what i’m called to do

These days, I help creative leaders, especially those in ministry,
build healthy teams and sustainable cultures.
I care about helping leaders define what success looks like,
reconnect with their purpose,
and turn their ministry into something that breathes life into others.

I’m not interested in quick fixes or surface-level hype.
I want to go deeper, with leaders who are ready to do the work.
If that’s you, I’d love to help.

Because you don’t need to burn out to build something great.
You don’t need to do it alone.
And you don’t need to stay stuck in the version of leadership that’s not working anymore.

the result

When you work with me, you’ll slow down first,
enough to get honest about where you’ve been and where you’re going.
You’ll get clarity on who you are and who you’re becoming.
Then together, we’ll work outward,
reshaping the culture of your team so it reflects the kind of leader you’re becoming.

Because when the leader gets healthy, the team gets healthy.
And when the team gets healthy, everything’s possible.
